Like Mondays aren't bad enough. It's cold and raining, I got zero sleep last night and I woke up to wet sheets. Thankfully it wasn't me that peed the bed. My problem child cat had an accident, at least that's what we're hoping it was. Either that or he was just pissed that we decided to sleep in till 6:30 this morning and thought it would be nice to wake us up with a golden shower. This has never happened before so I hope it's not a precursor to something serious. I definitely can't handle something being wrong with him right now; I have a lot of my mind...
I sit for my personal training exam on Friday and spent the entire night tossing and turning going over information in my head. I spent 7 hours yesterday reviewing notes and taking practice exams freaking myself out more and more with each passing hour. This is pretty much how I've spent my weekends over the past few months and this is on top of studying most nights after work. I go back and forth between feeling prepared and feeling completely overwhelmed. There is so much information and even if I study more, I'm not sure I can cram anything else into my brain. Thankfully, I think I can honestly say that I've done all I can do to get ready. I didn't take this lightly and I put in the time to get ready. Now it all comes down a 4 hour exam on Friday. This exam means so much to me. In fact, I've never wanted something so much.** So much that I put it off for years because I was too scared of failing. It took TEN YEARS to finally have the guts to sit for the exam and I can't believe it's this week. I feel shaky and emotional just thinking about it, which I'm sure the lack of sleep isn't helping. So if you don't hear much from me this week, it's because I'm a little preoccupied. I really, really hope I get to do a post on Friday titled, "I PASSED!"
** I also really want a GPS, bigger diamond earrings, a platinum band with diamonds for my right hand, a bike -- gentle reminders for Andy since my birthday is this month.
Here's my schedule for the week:
Mon - 5 mi
Tues - 7 mi, mid miles at marathon pace
Wed - cross train/lift
Thurs - 7 mi, with some 800's
Fri - 5 mi
Sat - 18 mi
Sun - cross train/lift

If I don't see your 'I Passed!' post I will just assume you are out celebrating.
Good luck. I am sure you will do just fine for the sole reason that you want it so much.
Oh, sorry on the kitty accident! The downside of pets, for sure.
Best of luck for Friday!
Oh no, I hope everything is okay with your kitty!
And GOOD LUCK on your exam. Be confident! You know your stuff!
Glad you didn't wet the bed. Being stressed about a test will do that to you. Good luck this week. Try to breath and not panic.
Damn cats, I budget an extra few minutes each morning just in case our cat has decided to leave us a surprise somewhere.
Well, if we've learned nothing about you, Denise, it's that you have the resolve and ability to do anything. I'm convinced that since you're taking the test this Friday, you are only doing it because you are ready. In which case, you might as well prepare that PASSED blog post right now.
I will say some PASSING prayers for you!!!
Yeah, a cold rainy Monday is never a good sign!
First off, ewwww! I can't believe the kitty peed on your bed! Oy vey! Good luck with that, crossing my fingers he was just pissed (lol!) and not sick!
And I know you're going to rock that exam - you've put in so much hard work and dedication that it is bound to happen! Good luck this week! I'll be sending lots of good thoughts your way!
Do you get an instant score if you passed?
Poor Newman :( And yuck!
I'm sure you will do great on the test. Deep breath!
Good luck this week. I know you will do great on your test!
GABA! (:
I have to take an unexpected trip down to FL tomorrow and won't be on the computer much for the rest of the week, so wanted to wish you luck now for Friday's exam - looking forward to reading the "passed" post!
Good luck and don’t stress too much! You’ll ace the exams!
You are going to do great!! I love that gentle reminder list.

Good luck this weekend! You are going to pass with flying colors! You got this.
Not sure if I am running Philly with Colleen - I am thinking I might be racing it after knocking off Twin Cities. Hopefully I will see you anyway - good luck with the exam!
Good luck tomorrow!
