Bike Fitting and Photo Friday!

Had all intentions of running this morning but when I woke up, I just didn't feel like it. So, due to my new relaxed approach to training and not putting pressure on myself, I'm sitting on the couch with the cats, drinking coffee and watching Saved By The Bell (Oh, come on...don't deny it. Everyone loves a little Zach and Kelly drama). Maybe I'll run later today or make up the miles on Sunday. Either way, it's not a big deal.

I have an exciting little appointment today...a bike fitting!! It's a 2 hour appointment and I'm so excited to see what I learn. I have no intentions of walking out with a new bike today, but after this I really need to decide if I want to make this commitment and give it a shot. I'm hesitant for so many reasons...What if I crash? What if I don't like it? What about my running? Then there's the expense and technology of this sport. It's extrememly overwhelming with all the different options and it's anything but cheap. And lastly, there's those silly little cycling outfits...I'd rather ride naked than wear one of those.

Here are some recent race pics before I go. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Approaching the finish line at my first 5k since coming out of the boot.

Just before the race at Asbury Park marathon. Sporting my Brooks uniform and game face!

Ok, so I know the glasses are terrible on me. I know!! But this pic pretty much sums up how I feel when I'm running. So happy!!

Ha! I'm sitting in a north jersey motel getting some work done (catching up on blogs) and watching Saved by the Bell, too! The College Years always pull me in.

Have fun at the bike fitting!

Awesome pics!
My hubs is a duathlete...the cost for the cycling part of his sport is shocking to me. I don't even ask anymore the cost of things...

I hear you on the expenses of cycling. I have a low-end bike but wish I could afford a better one. Then I wouldn't have an excuse for going slow........ ha

Great pics!! I look silly in my running shades too, but they're comfy and do the job so I don't really care. :P

Have fun at the bike fitting!!

Cool long sleeve Brooks shirt. I'm a Brooks ID'er and I have yet to wear their stuff in a race (shh, don't tell). Kind of partial to the maniac stuff now :)
