2) Turns out Asbury Park was so happy to have me and my friends run their marathon that they put our picture up on their marathon home page for 2011 registration!! How am I not going to run this next year? I mean, I'm part of their advertisement! I wouldn't be surprised if they had a monster showing next year. ;-) Check out this these bad ass chicks...too cool!!

3) And finally, GIVEAWAY time. I recently tried out Sof Sole Cool Max Trainer socks. With all the socks out there, I've definitely become a little picky with what I'll wear and find myself always reaching for the same ones. I tested out Sof Sole on my mid week runs and really liked them. You can read my full review here but one thing I had to say is...3 pairs for $9.99!!! I pay at least that for ONE pair of socks. I'm a fan of the Nike socks that were given to all runners at the Pittsburgh Marathon and 1/2 last May.

I love Sof Sole socks. I wore them in my ultra. I was worried they'd creep down but they stayed wonderfully in place. Love them!
I'm a follower! I haven't found any favorites and manage to lose any expensive ones that I buy...how? I don't know.
I'm already a follower but have yet to discover a pair of running socks to love. I just use standard socks for running...which could contribute to my blisters now and then...hmmm.

Follower (twitter and blogger)here....Injinji socks have saved me from blisters time and time again. Just wishing they were made a little more sturdy, I seem to burn through them.

I love my Brooks quarter socks (just below the ankle), but for long runs I wear bright pink CEP Compression socks. :) They couldn't be more different!

I just started running, so I am new to the sock discovery, but I have a nice pair of LL Bean sport socks that are great. And the best part? Used a giftcard that I got at my second race to buy them!

I like the Asics socks. I've had several pairs for almost 3years and still haven't worn em out.
I became a fan of WrightSock after I got to try them out thru Runners Lounge ... I prefer a few of their single-layer socks, depending on the weather.
I also like SmartWool and Balega when it's cold out.
